Lack of time and patchy internet connection have rendered writing, and uploading a blog to the web, impossible thus far on my journey. But ironically, just as I have arrived in Spain (on 2nd July 2016) and in the first hostel of my travels here, I have a little bit of time on my hands .. and the best internet connection since I left home just over a week ago. So time now for a bit of blogging - about week 1 of my bike ride back to Julie's beach in Benicassim, Spain. Of course, the nature of my ride means that it has generated lots of feelings and emotions already, and this is bound to continue, especially as (if!) I begin to get closer to the place where I last saw Julie truly relaxed, swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the sand, before her health began to seriously deteriorate. I choose to include some of those feelings and emotions in my blog but am aware that not everyone is comfortable reading about other people's feelings and emotions. As a result, you might not wish to read any further ... in which case I fully understand. Whether you are able to read on or not, thank you for at least taking the time to visit the blog page and for being interested in my bike ride and especially, for caring about Julie. Love & strength. Keith xx
